Trouble brewing in Roshan's paradise

Hrithik Roshan

While Hrithik Roshan may be basking in the glory of his latest release Jodhaa Akbar, there are rumours of a trouble brewing between him and papa Roshan. The reason is cited to be Rakesh's refusal to give a nod to Hrithik for Aditya Chopra's next Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.

Sources insist that Aditya had approached Hrithik for the lead role before settling down for SRK. But Roshan senior's condition of co-producing the film did not go down well with the Chopras. "Yash Raj has never done that and Hrithik knew it would not go well with his old friend Adi. So he backed out citing other reasons. He was not exactly happy with his father's decision. He just did that to keep trouble at bay," reveals a source at Yash Raj.

However, Rakesh Roshan outrightly denied any such happening. He rubbished the rumours saying, "There is no truth. Everything is fabricated news." Let's wait and watch if too much of interference on Rakesh's part leaves the hornet stirred in the long run.
