Twelve B-Town biwis are heading to Dubai for a fun-filled four days; the trip is being ‘sponsored’ by Shobha Kapoor

Twelve golden girls are leaving for a holiday to Dubai tomorrow. The list comprises Shobha Kapoor (Ekta and Tusshar’s mother), Dimple Kapadia, Hiroo Johar (Karan’s mother), Pinky Roshan, (Hrithik and Sunaina’s mother), Bubbles (Goldie and Shrishti Behl’s mother), Neelam Soorma, Neetu Kapoor, Minu Juneja, Shamim, Pamela Grover from London, Reema Jain, Timfy Singh and Nino Singh.

Dream come true

Confirming the trip, Pinky Roshan says, “It’s a dream come true for all us and it has been made possible by Shobha Kapoor. She planned the whole trip and it’s her treat.

She even arranged for all of us to be on the same flight. We owe a big thanks to her. Twelve of us are going to Dubai for a holiday. We’ve known each other for 35 years!”

Some of the ladies in the group are not from the film industry.

Why Dubai? “There’s no reason why… we could have gone anywhere but Dubai is close by and it suits everybody. The place is not important — what is, is the fact that this we have been trying to organise this little getaway to Dubai for years. But it’s now happening because of Shobha who has taken the time and initiative to organise everything.”

The gal pals plan to have a great time — doing lots of things together… eating, shopping, and sightseeing.
